Now I’m not going to be testing the soil but I have tested before and the test always come back the same...so what do I know?...it’s a wet area first and foremost...everything in the soil is relatively balanced , I’m just low on most stuff. ph is right about 7...I’m around 5% om...the “tilth” is terrific...it just feels great...(doesn’t taste as great as I thought it would but I don’t think that part is all that important )...here I’ve added a few wheelbarrows of black leaf compost..   Sunday, June 23 View Page After the compost was spread and tilled...I added 50lbs of organic fertilizer...(mostly a mix of foxfarms granular ferts)...also 10lbs of Wallace wow kelp, 2 cups of Epsom salts, 1/2 cup of borox...tilled it again...that’s step one..nice and finely tilled...chop up the worms...all the pieces grow new ones...(it’s science.)..then I scraped all the “crema” off the top 6” into planting mounds...remember...early season it is wet here and tomatoes don’t like wet feet
