My temperature probe fell out and my seeds spent 8 hours at 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Do you think my seeds will still germinate ok?

What seeds? And were you trying to store or germinate them?

Update: 6 of 12 seeds are showing signs of life! They sprouted and I placed them in a seed starting mix. Will let y'all know if they make it.

They were Atlantic Giants from a seed exchange. Unfortunately, none of the 12 seeds survived. One actually sprouted but was pale white and died a day after emerging. Huge bummer - hopefully I'll have better luck next year.

Perhaps someone in your area has a back up they would share with you. Jim

26 West - That's a good suggestion although being in a suburb of Washington DC I don't know anyone else growing giant pumpkins... But if anyone out there knows a DC area grower, it would be so appreciated!

Dang, that stinks...I’ll keep my fingers crossed that someone close has something but you are def late that far south. make sure you watch the plants grow in the pumpkin journals this season. Lots to be learn from just looking at pictures and dates. Good luck...next season starts now
