1789est Wallace ’11 (x 220.3 DeBacco “Snowball”)
Day: 41 OTT: 261.5” Est. weight: 399 lbs.
Well, sadly I had to remove this plant so I do not expect any more growth. This plant was hit hard by the witling disease so I decided to try and remove this plant entirely so the odds of it spreading to my other plants will be reduced. There is still no guarantee that this will stop the disease from spreading but I know removing an infected host in the early stages can reduce the odds of the disease spreading.
*I was not able to get a weight on this pumpkin as it rotted while in the patch and I did not save any seeds. Sometimes these things just happen.
