I like the overall shape of this pumpkin as it does not have any noticeable weak areas. You may notice the dryer sheets around this pumpkin and other than making the pumpkin smell nice, the main purpose is to act as a rodent deterrent. I have heard from people that this simple trick has worked for them, and since it is easy enough to do, I put these around all of my pumpkins. I add another sheet every so often, when I feel the smell has been reduced and so far no evidence of mice damage on any of my pumpkins.
