Picked my long gourd today for Anamosa. The other 2 on the trellis are 100 and 98 inches and still gaining but plants are really looking bad now. Melons are at 105 and 110 est but one plant is dying so probably will not get much bigger. I should of left one for fair on the plant for Oct.
Pumpkins are down to a crawl now and nothing that big. Several 400-700 pounders and one nice one around 900 pounds.
I am starting getting ready to plan next years patches and better plans for the melons. it was just too cold and wet this year for the fall stuff and the hoop did great for the fair pumpkins and melons but no room for fall stuff in there.
