Beer traps...slug bait sprinkled away from the patch...blow torch..copper pipe will deter them...

There is a mulusccide out ther, also try sulfur sprayed on the vines only

I finally figured out slugs aren't insects. Duh. They're MOLLUSKS! Think clams, oysters, squid and octopi(to name just a few).

Looks like slug bait is the cheapest, simplest way to go. Probably once or twice a week.

I sprinkle 7 dust around my patch.Also most slugs can be found under your're walking boards,at least that is where I always find mine

I recently learned that If you put sand or Epson salt around the area you are trying to keep slugs out of. They won't dare cross the barrier. The salt will kill them and isn't hazardous to the pumpkin.

Sluggo works great sprinkle it around the plant wherever slug damage is occurring. It is a registered organic product.
