            | shazzy | Joliet, IL | I have already burned leaves in the heat. The first 5 to 8 true leaves on plants are old and now toast. I learned early......hot leaves and high night temps should mean more frequent spraying at very light doses. And I added an extra lure in my svb traps....to finally get to the point of the post. Lol. Budweiser. | 7/3/2012 5:52:49 PM |

            | shazzy | Joliet, IL | Take 2. Why not add extra svb lures for extra protection when spraying with night time at 8 pm and it is still almost 90....and the more frequent lower doses was mentioned cuz a friend just pulled a pinky size grub out of a leaf stalk. | 7/3/2012 6:03:07 PM |

            | George J | Roselle, IL [email protected] | Stand out there with a electric racket and a Budweiser.. I'm not spraying anything now. Especially after I toasted the plant last Saturday with a chemical concoction. | 7/3/2012 6:51:23 PM |

            | shazzy | Joliet, IL | Lol......better the svbs then me....."hey shaz, touch this." Lol. ZAP. Sucker born every minute. Get em Georgie....knock em down!!! | 7/3/2012 7:29:03 PM |

            | Dasnowskier | Connecticut | If you use systemics why spray insecticides ???Fugicides I understand but still not sure why people spray after using Merit or other systemics ?

            | George J | Roselle, IL [email protected] | Merit does not give 100% coverage... It was more a dumb mistake on my part trying to spray when it was too hot | 7/3/2012 8:58:49 PM |

            | shazzy | Joliet, IL | If I relied only on systemic in Illinois, I would already be done for the season. | 7/3/2012 10:00:11 PM |

            | Gritch | valparaiso, in | Don't the SVB Traps only catch the male vine borers? | 7/4/2012 12:26:58 PM |

            | tallcorn | Linden, Mi., | Don't know, never turn them over.

            | Team Wexler | Lexington, Ky | I set my traps out early (no lure) this year to air them out, my plants weren't even in the ground....I caught one. With that in mind, I decided to go with no lure this year and I've caught about the same this year as years past when using lure....go figure....LOL
