            | Kurtis | San Jose California | This year was my best effort with a compost pile, but I did notice an abundance of common grubs. It now appears these grubs are maturing into 1/2 inch long beetles. I assume these are not good and need to be killed, right? I only see them on the ground, not on leaves. Can someone please recommend a spray for them.

            | Engel's Great Pumpkins and Carvings | Menomonie, WI ([email protected]) | Your compost pile is not hot enough if you have grubs in it...milky spore will take care of grubs | 7/4/2012 9:43:54 AM |

            | Kurtis | San Jose California | Thanks all! Linus, Yes, I believe my compost pile was nothot enough--- so worms are not affected by a hotter pile,
but the grubs are? My pile did decompose thoroughly, so I thought all was well.
