Y'all, and I should make a post in-general about it:
If you wanna move a vine whose tendrils are not attached to anything, if you gently PULL on a vine as you position it, that somehow alleviates the forces acting upon the tenderest angular points OF the vine and treating it just like a garden hose that you wanna line up perfectly for aesthetics' sake, one can make it happen. It's always risky, anyway, butt something I found out, and *during a hot part of the day, of course. For reference, I did this on my 1940 Urena and 839 Sandercock today, including a bit of 'wagging' them to nestle them into the weeds. No breakage. Phhhwew...eg
