Should be OK....only about 1000 lbs per leg!!

The have those very tall jack stands for doing repairs on houses. The kind that go from floor to ceiling. I wonder if those could be helpful somehow. But your original design looks fine I should been faithful in it not skeptical. But, sometimes there is a time and place for a bit of skepticism.
