"Atlantic Ocean Giant", sort of. Did you take the pic right after the plant's first watering in its new spot, or did you get heaps of rain? Just in case that it would look like that whenever it's raining...you may need to remove some of the surrounding soil for sufficient water runoff (please don't try to grow your plant in a pond).

I think flood irrigation might work fine in that climate. It wont work well everywhere.
