Thanks Rick, I will be there, yes. I truly was surprised on this one, so like I tell all the newer growers: Take what you have, you just never know!

That's true,I was going to take 2 last night and one was bad on the bottom, so I ended up with 177, wasn't really happy but at least I had one at the scale and it motivates me for next year already. I may go Sat to see the king auction, hope to meet you. Thanks

Nicely done, Dustin! I thought you would win at least one Howard Dill Award this season and I was right! You have some nice pumpkins over there, as always!

Congratulations Dustin! I’m always amazed to see pumpkins with the weights written right on them at weigh offs. I’d seriously flip out on someone if they tried to graffiti my pumpkins like that. I always wondered if that comes off or not.

Tape the ribbon over the numbers or use some "Orange Out" on it, lol!

I never used to like it either, but part of going to a new weigh off is different ways of doing things. I most often see stickers, but they present their own challenges with moisture in outdoor situations. I think marker is ok for pumpkins that are on display for a bit.

The young lady writing the numbers took her job very seriously and made sure all numbers were clear and perfect, so I'm good with it :)

It wouldn't surprise me if Dustin wins more Howard Dill Awards this season, yay!
