Has anyone grow this seed? Wondering how it compares to it mother. It's a selfed 1626 D. Gantner. I'm wanting to get a solid, repeatable (I know, it's never exactly possible...) deep orange kin with the starburst pattern of the 1567 D. Gantner she grew this year. Just wondering what kind of fruit the seeds produce.

Orange.. the 1626.. has the 1495 in it that grew my 1625.5.. so big and orange is all she grows .. you could give her a 2009 and she wouldn’t grow it... and D.Gantner seed should produce orange... she only will grow orange.... I have tried to get her to grow big and ugly and she won’t do it... it’s a constant debate

Big city, after seeing her 2152, I don't think there's any reason to NOT grow big AND orange. I just got done with my first year growing and am happy with the path of the (many) mistakes that got me my 647 pounder. But I just feel like the one thing missing for me this year was a pretty, orange pumpkin. So, at this point, I'm gonna take up the gantner, gansert, Gerhardt and the other orange growers' mentality of beauty over size. I think the orange it's finally catching up to the size of these things.
