Registration for the NC State Fair is September 15th. Pumpkin and watermelons are paid by the pound. Pumpkin: 1st $3 lb,2nd $2 pound, 3rd $1.50 pound, 4th $1 pound, 5th .75 pound, 6th 6th-10th $.50 pound Watermelons: 1st $6.00,2nd $4.00, 3rd $3.00 4th $2.00 5th $1.50 6-7th 75¢ pound 8-10th 50¢ pound. Also please note you must fill out a W-9 on the entry page to enter, premiums will not be paid without the W-9.
