Wow....great job everyone. Congrats to everyone especially Art on what must be a new PB and I think the second biggest pumpkin in B.C. Looks like those van Kooten seeds really pack a punch.....top 3 from Jake's seeds!!
Wish I could have been there but have been at a tradeshow all day and....oh ya didn't have anything to weigh this year.
Congrats to Dave and Leslie, I know the Nanaimo weigh-off is a first class event and the Pley's could not be nicer people....as a matter of fact all the Islanders are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
See you all there next year/Glenn

Nice work, some new names there with some huge pumpkins! Once again, the "Island Folk" are putting us "Mainlander's" to shame. Enjoy it now, kids, it's not gonna last forever...

Dave and Leslie, you both did an awesome job of organizing and running the weigh-off. Not only is it the biggest in BC but it ranks right up there with other major weigh-offs I've been to in the past. The weather was great, the exhibiters were great and there was a huge crowd to watch. Thanks again. Jake.

Thanks for the kind words Dave, but the pleasure was all ours. Thank you Lesley for all your hard work, it was everything a Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off is supposed to be. We had great time and without a doubt we will be back.
Congrats again to Art on an absolute hog of a pumpkin, and to Craig on his 820 which may be one of the most perfect pumpkins ever grown. My 3 year old summed it up best, "it's boootiful"!
Yes Glenn how right you are... Ya got VanKooten??
