You might find the answer in this diary

thank you spudder,

if I read right, the t3t would be a similar cross to the megadom. The M2D is a MegaDom crossed with another Dom. The naming makes sense to me.

That was an excellent diary to read.

I will have to watch out for the ca growers Austin and Dan

Spudder is correct…

MD2 and T3T are nicknames I gave two new crosses I created last season.

MD2: I crossed Steve Strickler's 8.36 MegaDom with pollen produced from a plant I called a "Sutherland Elite Domingo". That resulted in a MegaDom-Domingo cross. What I called MD2.

T3T: I also crossed a 5.51 Meisner with "Sutherland Elite Domingo" pollen. That resulted in a new MegaDom cross. What I called T3T (Truss 3 Triple). This was due to its location on the plant & it was 3x mega.

The "Sutherland Elite Domingo" seeds were received in the 2021 Exotic Seed exchange. Only Dan S knows the actual lineage of those seeds.

Cross guru, Wixom, pointed out that Marv would consider these two crosses to be “unstable”. According to Marv, they wouldn’t be “stable” until they’re F6s. That being said, if anyone wants to grow either of these crosses LMK. I’d be happy to share seeds.

Stay tuned for my attempt to cross two older, legendary Domingo lineages this coming season.

Saswampo, I would be interested in growing the crosses you have made. I’ll try to shoot you an email.

I would be interested in growing a couple. If i can keep things organized in my head, i would like to see any plant differences between the t3t and the 8.35 Strickler.

I don't think I have anything comparable to the (mmd-1st reference in diary?,m2d-austins designation and MD2 current). Maybe i could compare it to what has been my best seed for me...Megamutt D

It is so good to have new crosses to try again. Thanks Saswampo

So far that M2D is a beast and first out of the gates.

D'oh!... I'm afraid I added some confusion while attempting to clarify.

Austin is correct, the seed packs I've sent out are marked as "M2D", not MD2. Bottom line, they are one in the same.

bnot, Randouth, and anyone else interested... please send your mailing address to me at greened@gmail.com

I have contacted you Saswamp, thank you.

Austin, I can see on that tray of your early starts that the M2D is quick out of the gate. That is one of the traits that I have noticed on the crosses that include the MegaMarv. Those 7.95 Young seeds do not appear to be slouches either. Hope this is a good year for you.

I just looked at the seeds that I have for next year.

The 7.95 Young is an 8.35 Strickler x open. It too has the mega gene.

I need to cross the Megamutt D with something..hmmm, maybe with M2D

Stable is too boring....
