Thanks folks! I said at the start of the pot challenge thread: “ i really don't like growing in containers, but if I have to, they'll be the best container grown plants i can muster up” and I stand by that! Amazing to think that size was even possible in a container - it makes for more nerve wreaking growing tho! Glad that one’s on the scales now tho! *phew*

Wow! That's a big tomato. When I read it in your diary, I thought it was a typo or something. But you actually grew that big in a pot! Good job!

On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

Doug has had a great year. A huge tomato grown, of all places, in a pot. And before that a fantastic sunflower. Doug has outdone himself this year. He gives new meaning to the term "potluck" though this was not just luck for him.

Thanks folks - it was a blast growing it. I’m still reeling on the ‘grown in a pot thing’ myself, and wondering what to make of it. Relieved it’s on the scales tho, and I can catch up on some sleep before we do it all over again!
