Thanks again for the seeds wixom grower ! The plants are looking beautiful about ten inches tall with 8 leaves and a nice megablooms on the top ! Little early for them but we will see where they go? Also your 6.23 is the same! Have two of each and gave three away to other growers, hope u have better luck going forward !

It sounds like your plants are doing real good so far keep it up. Are you doing a diary greenbud i would love to see some pictures of your megablooms. If the entire stem turned into one bud you have some awesome megablooms already and you may not see megablooms like that higher up ? Their are 2 meathods of growing these gaint tomatoes the dan maccoy meathod witch is a tomato set on that first truss megabloom that you are getting now and topping the plant after the tomato sets and the second meathod of letting the plant grow about 4 to 5 feet high and setting a tomato on the 3rd or 4th flower truss. I recommend trying some plants each way ways to see witch way work best for you.

Been trying the diary so far not working but I’ll get it! yes they are ending with a megabloom ! I will try them both ways if the weather and blooms permit it ! Will 8 leaves below be enough ? Plus a couple above maybe?sounds like a plan ! Thanks

I left some outward growing secondary shoot leaves thats how I got twenty plus leaves plus a few after the tomato. In hindsight, I think I could have let 30 leaves develop and not stolen any energy from the first truss mega. It does require a healthy plant to get the first truss megas to develop well. Plus they may be more crowded the blossom stems always seem to be short. But depending on various factors. . . like your weather and fertilizer. . . you may get smaller blooms as you go up higher. If so thats ok too... The smaller blooms can still produce unexpectedly huge tomatoes.
