Thanks for the diary update. I think you will probably get into "official" second this year with what you weigh on the 19th. I am more curious about what you will get with your mega. Looking back in our diaries, it looks like you might be a bit behind mine at same DAP. But mine flashed early. You said you are feeding it Neptunes Veg formula. Is this tomato and veg formula..if so the npk is 2-4-2. I was using an npk ratio of 2-1-4. I can imagine that you are having trouble keeping it watered. I was dropping a gallon per day in a 13 gallon bucket. It sounds like a struggle if you are dropping 1 1/2 gallons per day in a two gallon bucket. You are about past BER stage. Bring it home...if you can beat my weight, I will consider you the winner. Excellent job in overcoming the obstacles that put most winter growers down.

Yep bob it is the 2-4-2 Neptune’s. There is also osmocote in there which was great for the early stages but can’t keep up at this point. I will weigh the littler tomato in a little while today. It doesn’t appear to have grown much lately. I will keep the big one going and it will be easier just dealing with the one plant. I’ll be glad to have room for all of my spring starts now.

Orangeneck...i would be concerned if I were you. I looks like Carlo is going to make a run for late season with his little monster. If know one else is watching, I am. I think you both of you can beat my number for this year.
