Wilson is not huge in circumference..but the way it is shaped in a ball is really going to help the weights. If you can hit the 28 x 28.5 x 23.....the 23 thru the middle small section by the stem, with a .0005 mfactor you would be in the nine range (9.212 est) . The really big tomatoes are hard to get good estimates on. Too many airgaps. I still think your best estimate would be to measure as it is two tomatoes estimating for the dimensions that the tape wont go and add them together. I predict somewhere between 6 pounds and 12 pounds...how is that for narrowing down the range?

Best guess is The 8.22 was 27.5x26.25x20.5 day for day...i thINk..if I’m counting right it will flash soon...but it could be another week...if so a new pB is definitely possible...hope it’s still green in the morning...lol...Wilson ...

And by best guess I mean I’m going by photos of that year...and I always take pics to make stuff look as big as possible...so who really knows how big it was on what day...I gotta get on lambchops case about not keeping track of this stuff...

i did check the weather forecast for your area. Looks like you are going to be a bit chilly. 10 day forecast, highs in mid sixties to low seventies....lows mid 40's to mid 50's. I think lower than what would be optimum for growth...is this just going to delay flash or push flash faster. If I knew the answer...you might be able to compensate...supplemental heating etc. I don't envy you porkchop...you might have a lot stress for the next few weeks.

Thanks wixom...Were spraying religiously this year...alternating daconil and copper every 5-7 days... I don’t spray in my veggie garden so those look “normal” for this time of year......I also think the mounds over the deep holes helped to keep us dry this spring..and of course the humic and seaweed from Ron...def some blight moving in but we’ll go the distance...I kept it very simple this year and kept really good notes...which is exciting looking toward the next time we do this..hopefully we can punch our ticket to the dance with this one...

Porkchop, if i am reading those measurements on the pictures in diary correctly... 29 x 29 x 21 x .0005 = 8.83 pounds. As you know, the big ones are really hard to estimate. It could go either way. pffft...meathooks-catchers mitt....just keep it green.
