You gotta pick at day 20 or it explodes. Bad genes.

My five plants are the largest and most healthy plants in the garden, similar to the Domingos. Producing many 2-3 fused only. Nothing huge. Plants are loaded with at least 2-5 one week sets. I’m doing what I can to cut down plant growth. I expect to harvest my largest in 15 days where it will 44 dap. Currently 20” at 29dap.

I had one that turned around day 30.
Turns out it was split in 3 spots, and leaking like a sieve.
Weighed it on the home scale at 2.44,but didn’t try to save it.
Hoping to get another chance now that the heat is over.
I can send you the pic if you want Rebel.

Me too esheel. Bad timing on my part I guess. The 100 degree days turned them at around day 30.

I have 3 plants growing. They all have young sets. Too early to decide potential.

looks to be some good potential here, all mine look more like domingo than bigzac, they throw awesome blooms, I just got 2 on, I missed out on some wicked big ones because of the earlier heat, only time will tell, just looking to beat porkchop I'm hoping I have an advantage since i'm not crippled.

They should porkchop..same cross..Domingo x Big Zac. If Domingo and BigZac are stabilized should have nearly the same genetics. BigMarley will get a boost from heterosis. My biggest wixom slammer was 4.87 pounds, will see how BigMarley compares.

Look ok here but they're not getting a lot of attention. I didn't push them the way I should have and didn't set any megas... Its a flavor contest now at my patch.

It is looking like the Big Marley is going to be around for a few years, with so many growers setting PB's with it. Hopefully F2 selection will overcome the heterosis loss. I think it looks like the perfect genetics to cross with a MegaMuttD. I am curious...how many DAP are the growers getting with the Big Marley?

Mine started to turn today. 22 1/4". So sad. I thought it was going to hang in there. It's been crazy hot here. Supposed to cool down after tomorrow. Got 2 more going and one is a later start. I'll post in my diary when I cut it.

The best in my patch this year is going to be on a big marley. I am hoping for 4 pounds, but may not get there. With what I started with for soil...this cross is definitely a winner. I will be using my little one to make a megamuttD x Big Marley cross this winter. Next year...Hopefully will have a bit improved soil...this cross look like with decent soil to be a sure winner for 5+ pounds.

Thank you everyone for trying and reporting your weights. Really appreciate it. I have 12 people on my list with weights. Cindy Tobeck, who refused to lose at anything, is on top with 5.58. I will get an updated list out soon.
