Has anyone ever dried and kept a long gourd, and if so how did you do it and how long did it take?

I placed some in my garage after letting sit outside for a couple of months then in spring they were dry and very light

Dry mine in basement, wipe down every 3-4 days with bleach and water.

My longest lg has been sitting out in my garden for2 yrs. Still looks good and im from indiana.
