            | big moon | Bethlehem CT | I am curious as to what method others are using now.  When I started I was doing them all as hole insertion.  Now I prefer the one cotyledon  method.  I also am severing all the roots on the rootstock and re-rooting it from scratch.(like you see at the end of this video)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0GwgMb0M3Q
 I used to have many, midseason plant collapse problems.  Since I have been using my current methods I have not had any problems.  I am not sure why.

            | big moon | Bethlehem CT | Yeah some things are harder than others to root.  I have a very good set up for propagation.  My key to getting good roots to grow is warm soil and intermittent mist.  I use a  fifty fifty blend of pro mix bx and perlite as the medium for rooting. | 3/15/2020 6:25:56 PM |
