            | Princeton Joe | Princeton Kentucky | Was measuring Mr. Hankey, #2 melon this evening and leaned on him a bit.. not too much and heard a crack noise deep inside. Is this trouble and could it end its growth? | 8/25/2018 8:05:16 PM |

            | Charles B.(Team GWG/WWGG) | Grant, AL | I think your ok Joseph! Once they get to a certain size you can’t help but lean on them a little when measuring lol. You have to think that these melons have been growing for 50-60 days without moving any so any slight movement can cause a slight pop or crack sound. I have heard mine do that when I slide one back to relieve pressure on the stem. Keep them bad boys and girls growing!! | 8/25/2018 8:13:33 PM |

            | Spence*** | Home of happy lil plants | I have a strong feeling we will see this melon being weighed in about 3 weeks | 8/25/2018 10:20:12 PM |

            | megakin(Team Illiana) | west central IN/East central IL | Lost my balance once and leaned on one. It grew till the end. Should be fine. | 8/25/2018 10:48:25 PM |

            | Princeton Joe | Princeton Kentucky | Thanks folks! Had me worried there a bit. Still waiting on the App you just take a pic of the fruit and it tells you your est! Fiona needs moved again (stem stress) but I can't budge her. Its gunna take a team again. | 8/26/2018 5:21:34 AM |

            | Walking Man | formerly RGG | I have popped several in my lifetime. Mostly store melons I was checking for ripeness. May not apply to a Carolina Cross though as for being ripe. Anyway your intention is to grow this melon way past normal eating ripeness.
