            | big moon | Bethlehem CT | If the weather is right, it can be done. So many new growers since 2013 . It is bound to happen sooner or later. | 5/1/2018 7:46:12 AM |

            | Pumpkin miner | Manitowoc | I'm trying it for first time this year. I have a257.5 Barlow with 316 Edwards x 296.5 barber genetics. I'm also going to try a little grafting on some separate seeds from store naught Carolina cross. I'm going to use the root stalk of a giant pumpkin. I found a successes report dating back to 1927. sooo fingers cross. | 5/1/2018 8:42:22 AM |

            | Smoky Mtn Pumpkin (Team GWG) | sevierville, Tn | Not giving up, just gonna try harder this year. My bet is someone somewhere breaks the record.

            | SEK Grower | Kansas | I agree with Chris. It will happen this year for sure. | 5/2/2018 1:57:32 AM |

            | Walking Man | formerly RGG | I agree the record will probably fall this year. But death & taxes and a very few other things are for sure. World records being broken is not one of them.A new record certainly would put some added fun into our hobby. I wouldn't be too surprised if someone from outside the USA won the record again. Then it would be exciting to see the competition to bring the record back home again. | 5/2/2018 3:08:00 AM |

            | Clutchhitter | Reelfoot Lake, Tennessee | Yeah, Kentucky's up there somewhere. Mr. Mudd at 357.7#. | 5/3/2018 5:38:44 AM |

            | Charles B.(Team GWG/WWGG) | Grant, AL | Good guess Clutchhitter but I think your about 2 lbs low and you need to move a little southeast. The added competition this summer will have Chris primed for a new WR. Not only that but he’s on Lindleys GOAT team. Lindleys GOAT team don’t lose!! | 5/3/2018 6:58:15 AM |

            | BatCaveN8 | The North Coast | Make me wonder if Joe Jutras is going to try to claim this one too? | 5/3/2018 9:59:24 AM |

            | ESheel31(team sLamMer) | Eastern Shore of VA | I’ve got 4 names in mind that could definitely break it. | 5/3/2018 1:55:00 PM |

            | jlindley | NE Arkansas | I might have a bunch of 150s at the end of the year but it won't be from not pushing
