Stuff mine in a clean 55 gallon trash can, fill it with ice, wait a couple hours, invite the neighborhood over and dive into it.

We give part of ours to the local school cafeteria. The students don't get watermelon at school normally. I'm sure any high school football team would sure enjoy one after a hard practice. That way you can spread the word about giant growing to impressionable youth. Most have never seen giant veggies.

just the shell left after i seed them. I have always composted the left overs. I may give to the horses next door as 1 of them likes the culls.... if they are good...
