As the fruit will be grown over January and February would that mean joining in 2013 or joining this year?

2013, this season should close Nov 1st or thereabouts.

I believe the southern hemisphere growers should have joining deadline 6 months opposite that of northern hemisphere growers. That would put them on the same playing field time wise.

There 2012 season just ended they start 2013 season in October I believe.
