First he destroyed the 1500 pound barrier with a 1502 pounder. Then he went on to destroy the 1 ton barrier when he grew a 2009 pound Pumpkin. And last but not least he not only broke the 3000 pound barrier, but he destroyed it! . When Ron grows a big one, the whole community benefits as a whole. First, he proves it can be done! And then perhaps even more importantly, he is generous and shares what he has learned. a true role model for all of us. Congratulations Ron!!

For all those that thought Ron was busy with the business, growing just for fun now, enjoying his retirement, whatever the reason may have been. He has been reading, learning, on the phone with Harry for countless hours. each year just preparing for this fruit! Everything finally came together Ron!!! Congrats on the 1st one to 3000 pounds! The number Pap use to talk about all the time. So amazing Ronnie and I think this one might stick for a few years!!!!!!!! I can only imagine how many sleepless nights you must of had! lol
