I would like to use a water timer to control a few impact sprinkles to wet the leaves on the really hot days, especially early in the season.
My question: Is there a timer that one can set every 30 minutes for whatever duration the user wants ? I’m thinking every 30 minutes for a few minutes duration, would keep the leaves from getting burned, and the plants from getting stressed.
I have found a Galcon timer that I could set to run every hour for a few minutes of duration, but am wondering if any of you have a timer that will do what I’m asking.

I think orbit timers will do what you want.

You need what is called a propagation timer. I have one and they are quite useful.

I got really carried away reading the details and features, lol; I should practically be able to run it, now! Quite the timer. eg

I use a Galcon propagation timer. Actually more than one. I've had one for over 10 years that is still going. they run on a 9v battery.

If money isn't an issue - we run an electric leaf setup to our mist bench that essentially waters when the moisture on the leaf surface is too dry. It's not a set schedule (like every 30 minutes) but rather acts similar to the leaf itself by responding to conditions. It may not be what you are looking for, but worth a review.
