I have never grown a large pumpkin but after seeing everyone's pictures I hooked and want to give it a go. My favorites have been large sunflowers and tomatoes. The last few years I have just picked up some pumpkin seeds at Lowes and what the borers did not get did not turn out to special :). Of course, I would love to grow a 2000lb pumpkin but I know that is very unlikely to happen as I have a lot to learn. Can someone suggest a seed type or cross that may be a little user friendly for me to get started with if there is such a seed? Would happily purchase from the auctions when they happen but would not want to waste them either as many appear to be a bit of a investment. Thanks,
Larry

All I have to say is wow i'm glad I asked. When I googled the name for mikkal it pulled up a newspaper article in my town and the IPGA, pretty cool this is all near me thanks cojoe. Bill thanks for the video, I just finished it. I learned many things I've done wrong already with my attempts. I do have to say as I have done video in the past, your video was done very well I could not stop watching. Thank you for your offer Judy I really appreciate it I will shoot you an email. Sure wish I found BP last year, going to be a long winter looking forward to next year.
