As you can see on the pic, the bottom is another color than the rest. It's also not that firm anymore...and it's progressing in the bad way... Anyone who knows what causes this?

He means the pumpkin died. It appears the pollination could have been a success at first from your pictures, but then died. Are you fertilizing a lot? How is the heat? Have you amended your soil? I would say lack of calcium could be a cause judging by the front being the part that looks dead. In this case it would be the rare occurence of blossom end rot on a pumpkin.
