Don't Panic! If at all possible there will be! The GPC and most weigh-off's are working to make them happen despite all the negative news out there. If a fair for example is cancelled the weigh-off can be moved to another location and still happen if local COVID restrictions allow. It will take a little time to work out the details and as they are received they will be posted on the GPC Website in the Weigh-Off Section. Growers can contact their Sites,or Clubs before that time to get an update. As the Northeast Rep. I can tell you that at present 11 out of our 12 sites plan on holding a weigh-off. They will be very different then in previous years but that is understandable given our present condition. Conditions can change in the future and should that happen every effort will be made to keep the growers informed. But it's ultimately the responsibility of the individual to keep themselves informed. Sites and Clubs Please fill free to post any current news from your areas.

I contacted the organizers of the Downtown Pumpkin Festival in Rapid City, SD and was told that all is a go for them.

In usa you have it easier, but internationally we have it very complicated in September and October, possibly there are closed borders, and we will not be able to weigh the pumpkins with gpc.
it is a pity that this exceptional year 2 pumpkins were not allowed to be weighed at each weigh off gpc, even though one was an exhibition.
