Should I or shouldn't I? Seems like there's no consensus for terminating the secondaries beyond the fruit or just letting them continue growing.

it used to be that beyond 15 feet, the secondaries become as though they are their own pumpkin plants and do not contribute as much to the 'home plan(e)t', so, either that is attained or the boundary that the plant is to be confined to, in which case i like to allow a 1-2-foot space between the very last developing leaf and the boundary because the leaf will get big enough to fill in that space. you can also leave the very last TERTIARY bud going and you can direct that vine to go at now a right angle along your boundary, such as if you want an outlet for the plant's total growth if ever needed. might be helpful for an exploding pumpkin scenario - kinda wish i had that, lol---eg

Most growers leave the main vine growing past the pumpkin but not any secondaries.

Depending not he space you have, you may need to terminate every thing, but it is advised to let your main grow. By now yous should start to need to terminate secondarys, but that should help kick the pumpkin into gear, so it's good to do.
