Its great to see all the folks growing their stuff well, but at the best of times is always when someone else's luck runs out. Bad times patch condolence to Mr. Caspers.

Man I feel bad for you, that is a hell of a setup with clearly a ton of time put into it.

On a positive side, if you try to keep 1 or 2 of the plants, you can bamboo stake every leaf up that isn't broken and the plant will respond. I had similar in 2016 and was able to salvage 1 of the plants.

I wish you luck

Ya man what a bummer! Hopefully the plants bounce back but geez it is going to take some hard work to get the greenhouse back in order.

That is really awful, all your hard work. Hopefully you can salvage some of the your plants. This weather pattern we are in has got to get better. It is the same here in Northeast Pa. wind and rain. Tough hobby we in with weather like this. Good luck Paspers you deserve it !!!

That storm hit most of eastern Iowa. Lots of straight line wind damage all over. I got lucky. It came out of the north, and that direction has the most wind protection for me. Just rolled a couple watermelon vines, snapped the end of the long gourd that had the least groundhog damage, and knocked down a little bit of corn. I don't know why Pete gets hit so hard by the wind all of the time. He is just one county to the north. His Dad is the next acreage north of ours, and he has lots of tree windbreak protection too. We just get to contend with more critters.

Deffiantly stressed, was looking tonight 2283 is still 90% covered maybe lost 15 leaves. I had 3-4" circ increase on the 2 that scared me. So that helps
