In 1977, my family and I were huddled around a tv, the much anticipated movie of the year was on that night, Roots. We were tuned into the evening news prior to the start. There was a short clip of Howard and a large pumpkin that he had grown. I can't recall how much it weighed but I do remember that it was huge and something that I didn't think was possible! I was hoping to find the news clip on youtube and stumbled across this, not what I was looking for but very elated to find it!
