The GPC will continue to move the BIG SHOW to allow growers from different geographical locations the best chance to attend. There are a great many factors that we peruse and decide on in the best interests of all growers. Let your local GPC representative know of your ideas and thoughts. Find their email addresses on the GPC website.

We look forward seeing new faces as the GPC prepares to bring the BIG SHOW to Portland area in 2018.

Make your plans now to attend.

Kind Regards, Its time to Grow...

I hate to fly kinda like putting a squirrel in a shoe box. However I do plan on getting on a plane to Portland.I wouldn't miss it for the world.I think it will get to Nashville sooner or later. However you guys should plan on attending now. This sport is growing fast. The United States will eventually be considered a central location. This is now a Worldwide Club as they are even growing in Japan. So "its time for me to FLY" Hope to see you there.

added note to you football guys.Lets not get our football mixed up with Giant Pumpkin Growing."Football is for people who dont know how to grow Giants"lol

Next European should be in Belgium
Home of the World Champion.
A lot of nice growers there.
Lot of experience with big Big Pumpkin Events in Kasterlee.

Bnot could go for a Autobahn trip to Germany (maximum 200 miles away). ;-P

Belgium would be close enough. I would travel for it. Silly dream of mine...started driving 30 years ago when the speed limit was 55 mph here...I have wanted to drive on the Autobahn ever since then.

I only say that about Football. I attended 1 event where the crowd booed my win,due to a 100 year old college football rivalry. I told the crowd"Football is for people who dont know how to grow pumpkins"lol It did get a chuckle.

I love pumpkin growers as most put down the competitive for a minute to be your friend.Football is to serious for that friendship.
