Dave had to wait for 2 years after serving on the GPC board for 10 years. Should have been in long ago.

It was really great seeing Dave receive his Hall of Fame jacket. A well deserved honor for "Mr. GPC". Dave took the reigns of the GPC & brought it into the 21st century. He worked tirelessly for us all & this sport is much better off because of what he did. Congrats Dave & thank you very much for your many years of service.

Being voted into the GPC HOF is a very humbling experience.
I couldn’t seem to get over how ironic being elected into the HOF really is. It is not about how many seeds you donate, setting a world record, being the president or anything one person can do to promote this awesome hobby/sport. It is about the journey getting to this point in your life to be privileged enough to receive this recognition. That journey has been anything but solo as I have been blessed to have many family members & friends to get me to this place of honor. If it wasn't for all the support from the growers, the GPC Executive Committee, the HOF members, & my family this would have never been possible.
