Going up North bound I 75 from Toledo to ambassador bridge (in Detroit ) is all good or you could go to the Blue Water bridge in Port Huron cross over in Canada ,but the return trip south bound side of I 75 is closed for about 7 miles just south of Detroit I would suggest a different way home.

If you are coming across I 94 from Chicago take I 69 if you want to cross at Port Huron it's quicker you don't have Detroit traffic
