Walhalla, ND.

Last season after i harvested my for the pumpkin fests. I cut the main vines off leaving about a foot and a half at the stump. I noticed the main kept dripping, I put quart jars under these and once they were full which took less than 24hrs I froze them. About five gallons in total. I'm thinking of using this to water my new plants this year in their peat pots. Any ideas, should I or should I not.

a few years ago i boiled fresh willow branches in some water and used it to water my kin , dont know if i had bigger and longer roots or not but it didn't hunt anything----kin looked a little greener and bigger ---just a little info.

Hmm...I know there's a joke there somewhere but that's an interesting question..I say try a side by side comparison with two plants...maybe it's super growth nectar....definetly drink the other jar..

It came out of the stump crystal clear, I did taste it. It had no taste. I'm not sure about drinking a whole glass of it. I collected this for a few days till I figured I had plenty. Then I pulled the stumps. I was thinking the same way Ralph. I'm going to use it on a couple test plants and see what happens. I'll post to diary the progress.

Hobbit, my first question would be? Were there any disease problems w/the plant? If so, I would certainly think that those prblms, could still be in the water. Just a thought. Peace, Wayne

Interesting thought PW, I don't think I had any disease problems. But on the other hand if I had, would that have come from the soil therefore it would still be there this season?

Hobbit, hoping that someone smarter than I, will tell you what to do. I sorta think that soil problems (diseases) will winter over in your soil. Some incredible growers go to extreme lengths to eradicate soil diseases! Look for someone more educated than I, b/4 you start to sell the pkn water!
