Everywhere there are growers
|
Just wanted to provide everyone with an update about the listings for the Team-Pumpkin auction…
1. Lot # 14 is the correct seed (5.85 Boudyo ’14), but apparently this is not the seed that grew the world record. This is the seed that grew a small unidentified tomato that ended up producing the current world record. It seems this seed is listed as being the mother, but this is inaccurate information based on the following thread…

2. It seems the effort to provide growers with a wide range of seed types has not gone unnoticed, with the red/orange lots getting some attention. So, there is an added bonus to the winner of any of the lots for this year: if anyone is interested in a 705 DeBacco ’14 (811 Gerhardt x 2009 Wallace), Matt has some extra seeds. He will provide a 705 seed to any lot that the winner makes a request for when they are announced as the winner of their respective lot.

3. Lastly, please take a moment to review the Team-Pumpkin website because the winners of the first five lots will be based on who correctly answers the trivia questions first. It is recommended that you have access to the website, since the questions may require a little investigating. Also, the winners will not have to pay anything. Team-Pumpkin will even cover the cost of shipping.

Looking forward to an enjoyable and fast-paced auction!
