Glenn, Gene McMullen grew the 2145. 1756 x 1625
Already grown a 2004, 1861, 1824, 1795, 1706. The 1861 went 22% heavy, 1824 & 1795 both went 17%. So many other big ones waiting to be weighed. Gonna bring big $$$$$ at the auctions.

I made the cross 1338 Martin X 2145 McMullen. My 1338 was a tank I lost it on September 9TH to a growth crack that turned to rot issues. It taped 443 for 1,727. My 2145 McMullen was the biggest pumpkin in my seven plant patch until I lost 95 percent of the main vine. It was taping 1,059 with a five foot main and about four side vines. She was watered every day and amendments fed every day and 11 days later she taped 1.162 and when weighed 1,240 showed going about 7 percent heavy. There is no doubt that with a healthy plant to the end she would have been in my opinion 1,800 +.

Forgot to mention that the 2145 was cut on August 20 for a very early weighoff.

Weigh mine on Saturday, shaped to go heavy, plant was plagued with multiple main splits and literally missing half the main where it connects to the stem yet it keeps putting on inches. would have loved to see it's full potential

It's all good bnot ... thanks Luke I did not know that ...
I'm years behind on the crosses and what they are doing ... I'm growing older proven seeds in the 1495 Stelts from 2010 and 1623.5 Wallace from 2012.

Our 2145 is still growing in the patch. Yesterday we measured 486"... that's an est. Weight of 2094 lbs! Weigh-off of this last monster is on oct 9. I think next year I can get even more out of that seed. If someone can help me for 1 - 2 seeds for next year... text me :)

Wow!!! The 2145 McMullen. What a "POWERFUL SEED"!!! I wonder what the 2145 will bring at auction??? How much would you seriously spend on the "HOT" 2145# McMullen for next year??? Let's hear all of your responses.

1,267.00 Westphall 2015 is the same cross so if you are looking for the cross and not the name / weight behind the seed , I believe this should work also

800 Mcmullen is low on the radar right now but the reverse cross of the 2145 as mentioned previously. It just smashed the Colorado state record this last weekend. Joe had both in his patch and the 800 out preformed the 2145 for him and the 2145 is big.

I grew both the 800mcmullen and 2145mc. Totally different plants/pumpkins but both fruit wanted to grow-definitely strong genetics
