congrats to 1st year grower mike schmidt, just weighed his first pumpkin of the year. unfortunately it had a bad spot on the bottom. it was grown from the 1965 brandt x 1385 h/j. taping 411 ott, its uow is 1724 a whopping 19% heavy. congrats and condolences mike. cant wait to see what else you bring to the scales.

Hey thanks guys, it sucks but it was fun driving down to ricks to get a weight. Lots a happy kids getting there picture taken when we stopped. Lots of thumbs up on the highway, even an old time grower I met at menards while changing the tail light. He told me about when he grew 350lber many moons ago. He was going to join the club! So not all is lost.
