Today we weighed our 1872 Willemijns. This is our own Belgian record seed from last year. A great genetic cross (without a lot of inbreeding) in our eyes. This giant is our 3rd biggest one in the patch which taped 1185 cm (466.5 in) OTT. We polinated the 1872 with the 2145 mcmullen. The fruit was only 88 DAP and still gaining well but yesterday we had to choose 1 of our 4 giants to harvest... the 2063.5 Willemijns went 7% heavy to the chart.
