My pick goes to porkchop !!! i always look forward to seeing it. not only is he very entertaining person but he also knows how to mix his landscaping talent with his gardening skills to make his entire yard look like it belongs in a home and garden magazine.

There are a few diaries that are really good . I enjoy porkchops , rons , tumbleweeds and a number of others for different reasons. Kudos to all .
PS Can anyone tell me how much time mrs. porkchop spends working while porkchop's enjoying the hammock ?

Porkchop is hands down the best wood worker and awesome yard. Absolutely awesome yard, I had to say it 2x. North Shore Boyz Glenn always has the best looking plant in September which I just couldn't fathom.
Ron W is the most anticipated while Mrs Glenna always has a beaut!
I appreciate them all.

Well until this year I would've said North Shore Boyz. I just loved that first entry of his each year. Man I sure miss seeing maple leaves. HA. I think porkchop has the best looking yards ever. Sure wish he would visit my house and design some landscapes for me. I probably laugh the most at Q Tip diary. Looking at LL's old farm house brings back lots of happy memories when I lived in the sierra Nevada mountains.

Some good ones mentioned. Another one I really look forward to is Bubba Presley's. Mark has some big and orange genetics going on. How can you not like Flatnorm? Who is this mysterious creature?

West of the Blue ridge is always one of my favorites, his entire yard is under cultivation, and it is gorgeous. Just like Porkchop's.

Anybody who goes through the effort to grow giant vegetables, take photos, and put it on a diary deserves some credit. It's a lonely sport otherwise. They are all worthy in my opinion. For me it was the element of surprise. I don't have a lot of time when I scan the diary's so I will check out the one's that keep me entertained for brief moment. I can always count Porkchop and Q for their edgy sense of humor, and Wixom for his impressive year with the maters and the biggest fake out for me with his 12 lb. These guys turned a normally mundane subject of tomatoes into something I, and others looked forward to daily. On the pumpkin side I really enjoyed Ron's and Bubba, and for some reason I enjoy DONKIN. It's amazing to me how he can pull tempers out of people from a relatively far away and nomadic place. That takes skill and I always get a laugh. I'm sure in real life he really is a good guy. Thanks to everybody for being a brief, important part of my every day.

...A bed around you pumpkin, Porky, the pear(pair)gourd? I looked. Nipple high demonstration Q? Wixom trapping every animal that was ever on the ark to protect the garden. A documentary with DONKIN narrating with his best N.S. accent could be made from a few of these people and it may sell.

I do enjoy your diary Rick but i have to admit Dale Marshall is buy far the KING!!! The planning, the $$$ and the man hours of work that go into warming his soil alone just blows my mind!!!! You don't just walk out into his patch and stick a light bulb in with his transplants i can guarantee it!! He is by far one of the BEST Growers in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
