What a great day! Learning some new tips from Quinn Werner and Matt Brungard - seeing an amazing flower growing operation at Tim Park's Garden Center - visiting with a wonderful group of growers - enjoying such a good dinner. AND.....you haven't lived until you see Jerry Snyder's pumpkin patches and flower beds! Absolutely incredible! Groomed to perfection with patches crisply edged and bordered with flowers. Everyone was in awe of what they saw. Plus, hearing Jerry explain how he grows his own mycorrhizae, trichoderma, and "living calcium" was the icing on the cake! - even though the stuff he had in the pans looked a little spooky!! Thanks to everyone who make this day possible for the rest of us!

the ovgpg has been at the forefront of our hobby for many years now. they are a class organization. holding may seminars and informational meetings. they run the club like a business--as it should be. some great growers included. pap
