I recently went out to check my Dill's pumpkin (softball size) and noticed what looks like a blister on it. It was the size of a pea and fluid filled. There were small black ants around it and there is a soft area in the skin surrounding this "blister". Anyone know what this is and is this pumpkin doomed? I have other pumpkins growing that do not have this problem.

Well, Just checked on my pumpkins today and two of them had started shriveling and rotted on the vine. I culled those two, but not sure why this happened. I'm guessing the heat and the wilting.
