How and when would I trim off a crooked blossom on AG?

Leave it unless it rots.

i usually cut the dries blossom off after 3/4 days after pollination,, dont want them to hold moisture on the end, can cause rot

Curt, I could be wrong, but I think Bobbitt Bench is referring to the blossom end knob, and you are referring to the flower petals.
Bobbit Bench, I'd leave the blossom end knob on as long as it doesn't cause trouble for the pumpkin, or isn't rotting. If you cut it off it could invite rot in that area. Are you wanting to cut it off just for looks?
