All of you that use mill fabric should actually use 2 layers. When you place the second one on top of the first it becomes very slippery for lack of a better word. You can move 600 lb pumpkins easily to help with vine stress and moving period. To test this theory! place 2 on the ground stand on the 2 and see how slippery they are

i had 2 pieces sitting on top of eachother on the side of a small hill by patch i surfed down the hill while shortcutting across them i was moving before realized it good...so also note you will land on your backside if any motion is there and tiny kin may get bumped if not reallllly tip toeing

moral of story...tip toe

What does the current mill fabric being used look like? I have some 10 year old tan, very thin pieces, that I thought was mill fabric. New pics I am looking at seem to a thicker reddish looking perforated type of stuff. Any advice will be appreciated! Peace, Wayne
