What is difference. The both have marco and micro in them and seem to be composed of the same things from what I can tell?

I personally wouldn't touch miracle grow but that's not saying you cant grow a massive pumpkin using the stuff. From my own point of view by using it you might as well be just pouring salt onto your plant. Just my two cents on miracle grow. I'm not familiar with urea mate. Micheál

My soil is silt over sand and the salt leaches through it quickly, so I don't worry about Miracle Gro. I use the tomato formula, which has more potassium. I don't pour it on heavy, just a little bit to keep things moving along. I find it is more beneficial in September when growth slows down, or early spring when the soil is cool, growth is slow and nitrogen is not as available. I also use it as a foliar along with molasses on the long gourds once they hit about 3' long. It seems to keep them growing a few days longer and gives a few extra inches. Never have seen Urea Mate to make a comparison.

I'm not using miracle grow that much I just got some 24-8-16 to push vibe growth to help fill out the plant more and faster now that the pumpkin is day 10.

I did notice that and wondered the same thing! Thanks for breaking it down!
I just used some to help my vines fill out faster and get more N quickly to the plant.

I only use Miracle Gro as a "booster" at critical times, don't depend on it for main nutrients. Just a quick shot of N and K to get a quick start and keep things going late. Just one shot in the spring, don't want too much N to cause aborts. I use maybe 3 or 4 pounds total in a year. It would be way too expensive as the main fertilizer on a garden as big as mine. I get plenty of Ca from the compost I use, plus I'm right by a gravel road surfaced with crushed dolomite. Plenty of Ca and some Mg in the dust, Epsom salt for the rest of the Mg. My soil tests from Western Labs don't mention Co or Mo, so no idea if I need that.
