Flatnorm wanted to take seeds to the UK so he emailed the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) to ask if a phytosanitary certificate was needed. The Plant Health Administrator replied..
"I can confirm pumpkin seeds are NOT regulated by Plant Health, PHSI (Plant Health & Seeds Inspectorate) so you do NOT need a phytosanitary certificate to bring them into the UK.
Regards Steve"

...as long as they look fine, without any malformations...in simple words: they just need to be FLAT ;-)
